When you open for example wikipedia you will find out that anxiety is an emotion of unpleasant feelings often accompanied by a nervous behaviour. It is different from fear. Fear is a response on the real experience or threat whereas anxiety is feeling or expectation of future threat. People with anxiety can have problems with situations in which they have experienced anxiety already before.
Anxiety makes you overact or overanalyse the situation. Any daily situation makes a trouble. Everything turns upside down, or rather everything takes black case scenario direction. You look for absolutely no real reasons. It makes you scared to go to normal places because you expect that everything goes wrong before it even starts. Also that causes that the things goes wrong because you lead your brain into such situation, and that makes you sure that it is normal result and it will repeat again and again.
It could also make you feel that the world is against you. That doesn't apply for me, even I have experienced it in my life. But I have worked on it pretty well. So, you can see that things can get better if you really want. But you have to work hard, and I cannot say how to do it because there is no clear advice or rule how to deal with it.
It is easier for me rather to talk to a stranger than to my friends. I feel that all my friends are angry to me because all the troubles I make. It is my feeling again that I think that every single thing in the world is my fault. Many times because I just breathe the air. However some people could have the problem to talk to anyone. I am quite lucky because I am very talkative person. So no big deal for me in this case. But unfortunately I have to say, that many times I am so stressed and nervous that I am overacting, smiling and talking far too much than I would like. I am even more anxious after that. That is really not nice circle again.
Everything leads to strong doubts about yourself and having troubles with your own self image. Which is not nice at all. This is not about to look better or to hear how things are pink. It is about statement of fact, drawing things on the paper and trying to find the way out from behind the walls.
